Our mission at Socedo is to help you discover, engage with, and qualify prospects through social, at scale. To achieve success with Socedo, just like any other demand gen initiative, you want to take a test-and-learn approach. Our best customers are the ones who take the time to develop their criteria keywords and test multiple messages/offers. In addition, they make it a habit to log into their accounts regularly to learn from their results and make adjustments to their campaigns.
We want to help you build an effective social demand generation channel. That’s why we’re introducing a new functionality into Socedo to help you optimize your Socedo campaigns on an on-going basis. This functionality is called Tasks.
What are Tasks?
Tasks are reminders that live in your Socedo dashboard. Tasks will be generated whenever our system detects that there’s something you can do to improve your campaigns. If you have open tasks, they will show up in a menu on the left hand side of your dashboard the next time you log in.
Some of the tasks are purely administrative, i.e. a reminder to re-authenticate your Twitter account in Socedo if you just changed your Twitter credentials. Most of them are there to help you improve how you discover, engage, and follow up with prospects. Here are the things Tasks help with:
Test your messaging and offers
As you know, Socedo enables you to engage with prospects through an automated workflow that involves following prospects, liking their tweets, and sending direct messages. Socedo allows you to A/B test your messages and offers to see which what works best for your particular audience.
Now, we’ve developed Tasks to help you get into a regular cadence of testing and measuring results. Tasks will remind you to enable direct messages (if you haven’t done so), to add a link in your DM to drive a visit to your website, and check to see if you have a winner in your A/B test.
See how your prospects move through the marketing funnel and convert
Socedo has reports that allow you to see how your Socedo prospects move down the funnel and impact business results. To get visibility into the conversion rates of Socedo leads, you need to install a tracking pixel (a small piece of code) on the page that follows a conversion. If our system determines that your tracking pixel is installed incorrectly, we have tasks that will alert you and help you configure your tracking pixel correctly.
Adjust keywords to discover more prospects
On Twitter, the events, influencers, conversational topics and hashtags that your prospects care about are changing all the time. It’s important that you adapt your criteria in Socedo on a regular basis to capture the prospects who are participating in these conversations. Now, there are tasks to help you adjust your criteria keywords.
For example, If you haven’t added any new keywords in a while, a task will remind you to add some keywords to your target criteria up-to-date.
We often see accounts where there are mandatory biographical keywords along with several negative keywords. This can result in excessive filtering of the search results, decreasing potential prospect volume. Now, if we detect this in your account, a task will alert you to consider removing some of the negative keywords to bring back more prospects.
Follow up with Socedo leads
Once you’ve captured new Socedo contacts, you can export them as a CSV to follow up with them. If you have new contacts in Socedo and haven’t exported them in 30 days, a task will alert you to the fact.
If you have a Salesforce, Marketo or Hubspot, you can integrate Socedo with these systems and start to sync your Socedo leads into your database. Now, there’s a Task that tells you whether the integration has been done correctly. Another Task will remind if you have newly synced leads that you haven’t followed up with.
Tasks are designed to help you make the most of the Socedo platform on a day-to-day basis. They are not meant to replace your Customer Success Manager . If you have any questions about choosing the right strategy, developing keywords or messages/offers, or if you’re thinking about integrating Socedo with your CRM or marketing automation system, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager.
Now, log into your account to see if you have any Tasks waiting for you. Please let us know if you have any feedback for us.
