Jonathan Whiting, Co-Founder of StreetText, searched around for a lead generation platform that could improve and increase conversions on their landing page. After using Socedo and optimizing with Socedo resources, StreetText achieved an end-to-end conversion rate of 4% on Socedo leads, from discovered prospect to booked demo.
Scheduling Appointments with Social Leads
StreetText uses an inbound marketing strategy with Socedo. Within their direct messages, Jonathan sends leads to the StreetText landing page with a “Request a Demo” call-to-action button.
Fortunately, the team at StreetText is something of an expert at lead capture, since their own platform automates forms, workflows, and landing pages. Once a lead enters the system, the team books a follow-up phone call and demo, and they use MailChimp for continued email marketing.
Jonathan also uses Google Analytics to run A/B tests on their landing pages. Even though Socedo was sending the right target audience to the StreetText landing page, Jonathan noticed that the conversion rate was low. He turned to the Socedo’s Customer Success team for suggestions.
Using Socedo Resources
Nate Strong, one of Socedo’s Customer Success Managers, suggested a Socedo webinar on improving landing page conversions.
“Socedo’s webinar made it clear that you want the landing page to evoke the feeling that the solution is within their grasp. The webinar showed examples of landing pages that included quick facts, followed by a description of what was being offered,” said Jonathan.
Nate also helped set up a direct message A/B test in the Socedo platform, in hopes of sending the most targeted traffic to the StreetText page.
After two weeks of testing their new landing pages, including a simplified design and more testimonials, Jonathan found a clear winner. The new version of the landing page had a 50.54% increase in conversions over the original landing page.
The landing page increase and conversion rate had a significant impact on the number of results they were getting from Socedo. Combined with their A/B testing, StreetText ultimately achieved a 28% engagement rate on their DMs and 4% of leads converting into booked demos.
