Socedo has made major changes in the past year. We more than doubled our full-time staff, and our product has been featured in major publications. But what we are most proud of is the product that we build and continuously improve. The Socedo platform has evolved a great deal over 2015, and if we told you all the improvements we made, it would feel a lot like sitting through grandma’s photo presentation of her annual Bridge convention. To provide you with valuable information rather than boredom, we’ve chosen the most valuable features we added to Socedo this year, in chronological order:
Prospect Search Criteria Templates
Back in the first quarter of 2015, Socedo birthed ready-made search criteria templates, and the world was never the same. …Okay, the world didn’t change much, but the onboarding process for new Socedo users was made far easier. Our internal team researched the most popular industries and target audiences from customers, then created templates using the most valuable and efficient keywords for each audience. This way, a few clicks of the mouse gives users targeted leads right away instead of starting from scratch with no leads.
Of course, each template is a starting point to add to and alter, but simply having an idea of what to search for has helped new users make the discover process truly personalized.
This has done three things:
- Helped our customers see immediate results. Click a template and upload targeted leads to your discovery bucket! How easy is that?
- Provided a starting point for Socedo users to see what kind of leads they’re getting right off the bat, so they have an idea of how to alter their criteria.
- Because keywords are already in the template, it gives our customers a good idea of what kinds of keywords they should add. After all, it’s easier to add to a list than to create one from scratch.
Socedo automatically optimizes your search criteria for volume, to ensure that you always have enough prospects in the discover bucket in your Socedo account. Scaling social media outreach only works if you have enough prospects at the top of your funnel, so the automated engagement flow can qualify your most interested leads. Conversion tracking for websites allows you to measure your ROI by tracking the actions visitors take after clicking the link in your DM. All links in DMs sent through Socedo will now be shortened using unique Socedo tracking links starting with soce.do. Before conversion tracking, the insight we had on lead activity stopped at the link click. But now we can take that information even further than our automated workflow to know if your lead completed the customer journey. Read more.
Enhanced Data Export
With Socedo’s Enhanced Data Export feature, you are more in control with how you communicate with your leads. Having information on a lead, their company, their social engagement, all paired with an email address will make it much easier to nurture those leads into customers. It makes pairing up Socedo with Marketo or your existing CRM system easier and more effective than ever before. Upload and Nurture Leads
Socedo customers can now create accounts that are not based on conversational or bio keywords at all. Instead, you can upload and/or Twitter handles from a CSV (Excel) file and engage with them on Twitter, giving an extra sales touch that may be exactly what they need to become a customer.
When leads follow you on Twitter, you can also gain insight to their LinkedIn profile, providing a great opportunity to reconnect. If a lead was interested in your product, only to cease all communications, they may have recently changed jobs. This is your chance to revitalize that relationship and communicate your value to the lead’s new organization. Read more.
Organic Lead Export
Socedo now allows our clients to download (or import directly into Marketo or Salesforce) all Twitter users who interact with their brands as leads with more than 50 data points, including email addresses. With the Organic Lead Export, you’ll save hundreds of hours of customer research and social listening efforts.
