1 Be Real
Be sure to send all communication from a real employee within your company!
We found that when we started emailing our leads from employees that leads had engaged with on Twitter instead of our generic company email , we had a 76% higher open rate.
2. Be Fake
Using a manual “re:” reply as a follow-up if someone doesn’t click through your nurture email.
Copy and paste the original email into the body. Add a line. Enter the new message at the top. Put “Re:” in the subject line.
3. Engage with Prospects Through Light Touches
Personally, we generally will like a tweet about 24 hours after following someone on Twitter.
Through this strategy, we found that we increased our follow back rate by 30%.
4. Be Personal
Use a lead’s first name in the subject line.
Use the company’s name in the body.
Use their name visibly in the URL as an “exclusive” offer.
