Pete Baltaxe has joined Socedo as our company’s Chief Product Officer. In this role, Pete will be spearheading the product vision, strategy, design, and development of Socedo’s intent data-based software solutions for B2B marketers.
“Socedo is one of the most exciting and fastest growing B2B technology companies in Seattle. They are helping B2B marketers transform the way they communicate with their target audiences, by leveraging intent data from the social web to reach buyers on their own terms. They’ve seen tremendous momentum in the past couple of years and have acquired an impressive roster of customers.” says Pete.
“I was exploring my next opportunity to contribute my entrepreneurial and product management skills and had gotten to know the Socedo founders over the last year. When they hit a growth inflection point and started expanding their product offerings I got excited about joining the team. Socedo is very focused on helping their customers succeed, and they are delivering value in an emerging market with a cutting edge technology — so it’s a great fit.”
In his most recent role as a consultant working with The Arnold Group – a leading management consultancy focused on enterprise B2B marketing and sales strategies – Pete helped large software companies develop strategies and programs to accelerate revenue growth.
In addition to his consulting work, Pete has held product and business leadership positions within startups and established companies. He was VP of Product for Porch, and prior to that, Director of Digital Music at Amazon, where he drove numerous product innovations, including Amazon MP3, Cloud Drive, and Cloud Player.
Pete is also a successful serial entrepreneur, having co-founded two companies with successful exits. He is an advisor to several early stage SaaS companies, and mentors startups through Techstars and Galvanize.
At Socedo, Pete will help the company evolve its core demand generation platform that helps B2B marketers better engage with their target audiences by leveraging social intent data. Pete will be leading the charge on workstreams that help further the company’s mission to provide actionable data to B2B marketers.
He will be working closely with customers and the Socedo team to make sure the data Socedo provides can be used to build new target audiences, score and prioritize existing leads, and enable sales teams with the insights they need to accelerate their deal flow. Pete will also be leading the charge as Socedo deepens its integrations with Marketing Automation Platforms like Marketo, Oracle Eloqua, and Salesforce Pardot.
Pete will report to Socedo CEO, Aseem Badshah.
